Cookie policy
The cookies FairWinds actually sets, what they do, how long they last and how to control them.
FairWinds sets only cookies strictly necessary for the site to work. No audience-measurement cookie, no advertising cookie and no social network cookie is set: audience is measured without cookies (see below).
Cookies in use
- NEXT_LOCALE - remembers the display language so it is not asked again on every visit. Lifetime: one year.
- NEXT_LOCALE_MODE - records that the language was chosen explicitly with the language switch, so that choice is never overridden. Set only after that choice. Lifetime: one year.
- authjs.session-token - keeps a professional signed in to their account area. Set only after a successful sign-in, and removed on sign-out.
Audience measurement, without cookies
FairWinds uses Umami, free and open-source audience-measurement software that NextFabrique hosts itself, in the European Union. It is used only to learn which pages are read and where visitors come from, on behalf of FairWinds and nobody else.
- What is measured: pages viewed, the page or site the visit came from, the campaign parameters present in the link (UTM), country, device type, browser and language.
- What is not kept: your IP address is not recorded, and no cookie or identifier is written to your device. To avoid counting the same visit several times, a fingerprint is computed from technical elements of the connection and a regularly renewed value: it cannot be used to recognise you over time or to identify you.
- No sharing, no cross-referencing: the data is not passed to any third party, not combined with any other processing, and not used to follow you from one site to another. Each NextFabrique site has its own site identifier.
- Retention: 13 months, then the raw data is deleted.
- Your choice: if your browser sends the Do Not Track signal, nothing is measured. You can also object to this measurement at any time through the contact page.
The measurement data is used only to understand audience and improve the site. These provisions follow the conditions set by the French data protection authority (CNIL) for audience-measurement tools exempt from consent.
Removing them
Every browser allows cookies to be deleted or blocked for a given site, in its privacy settings. Blocking them costs nothing here beyond the language being asked again and the professional area no longer keeping you signed in.
What the site does with personal data is described in the privacy policy.
