All Points Rally

The All Points Rally welcomes New Zealand-based sailors and yachts arriving from across the Pacific to Opua, in the Bay of Islands, at the end of their passage to New Zealand ahead of cyclone season. Unlike a conventional rally, it has no single departure point: according to Bay of Islands Marina, boats can leave from any port in the Pacific and choose their own weather window for the crossing. Run by Island Cruising, the event incorporates the Opua Cruising Club's Seafarers' Week and concludes with a community fun day. It spans about ten days, with activities, meals and seminars.
