The Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta is one of the largest regattas in the world by participant numbers, held every year on Auckland's Anniversary Day public holiday (late January) by the Auckland Anniversary Regatta Inc association, headquartered at 181 Westhaven Drive, Westhaven Marina. The event brings together numerous Auckland-region yacht clubs and associations, including the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron based at Westhaven.
