Estivale Cup

Each year, the Estivale Cup links the Sardinian port of Santa Teresa di Gallura to Porto-Vecchio and then Bonifacio over three days, before returning to Sardinia. Organised by the École de Voile Grand Sud Plaisance of Porto-Vecchio together with a Sardinian sailing club, this cruiser-class regatta calls at the port of Porto-Vecchio, where crews are welcomed at the harbour master's office before setting off again for Bonifacio. Raced under the Osiris and Vellegiata handicap classes, the event dates back to the late 1990s, having celebrated its 20th edition in 2017. It remains one of the recurring cruising-sailing fixtures in the Strait of Bonifacio, linking Corsica and Sardinia.
