Les Voiles Maralpines

Rade de Villefranche

Les Voiles Maralpines takes place in the roadstead of Villefranche-sur-Mer, centred on the Port royal de la Darse; the 2026 edition is scheduled for 15 to 20 September. According to the town's official website, the event brings together around sixty traditional sailing boats from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and elsewhere, sailing through the Villefranche roadstead, Beaulieu Bay, around Cap Ferrat and toward Cap d'Ail. A "Village des Voiles Maralpines" offers boat visits, meetings with crews, talks, exhibitions and activities including workshops for children. Organised by the Conseil départemental des Alpes-Maritimes and the association Une Yole pour Villefranche, this is the event's second edition; the 19 and 20 September dates coincide with European Heritage Days.

For FairWinds' yachting professionals, the event spotlights the maritime heritage and traditional-sail segment, a different audience from the major boat shows or superyacht regattas, but relevant to yards specialising in classic boat restoration and to yacht clubs around the Villefranche roadstead, right next to Nice and Monaco.
