Small-group diving with SVG's oldest PADI dive centre

Saint Vincent's oldest PADI-certified dive centre, founded by the legendary "Critter King" Bill Tewes, runs small-group outings across more than thirty leeward-coast sites, minutes from Blue Lagoon Marina.

Set on Villa Beach in Calliaqua, minutes from Blue Lagoon Marina, this dive centre has operated since 1984 and holds the country's oldest PADI licence, issued on 24 January 1978. Founded by Bill Tewes, nicknamed the "Critter King" for his passion for small marine life, it built a Caribbean-wide reputation for macro diving, to the point that five of his photographs featured on postage stamps issued by the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Now run by Callie Richards, with the team for more than thirty years, the centre keeps its outings deliberately small across some thirty shallow sites along the leeward coast. Access is by direct contact with the team only, with no online ticketing.
