Private venue hire, Golf Old Course Cannes-Mandelieu

The oldest golf course on the French Riviera, founded by an exiled Russian grand duke, hires out its grounds for bespoke private events near Port de La Napoule.

Golf Old Course Cannes-Mandelieu was created in 1891 by Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia, exiled after a morganatic marriage, who wanted to recreate the spirit of the Old Course at St Andrews. The course was redesigned in 1923 by architect Harry S. Colt. The estate hires out several spaces (including La Grange and the Terrasse des Oliviers) for bespoke events through its Groups & Events department, with no online ticketing. According to the estate's site, David Lloyd George and Aristide Briand were hosted there by the grand duke in 1922, during the Cannes Conference.
