Toulon Plongée, based on quai des Sous-Mariniers in the Mourillon harbour, is run by Sandrine Treyvaud, a BEES1 and PADI Staff Instructor who limits her outings to six divers per boat. The centre runs dives to several wrecks in the Toulon roadstead. According to the centre's site, the wreck of the Glenn Martin 167F Maryland bomber, which went down on 27 September 1946, was reportedly first filmed by Commander Cousteau at the request of an inquiry commission, a claim not corroborated by an independent source.
