Private hire of Domaine de Kerlevenan

A late-18th-century neoclassical chateau on the Rhuys peninsula, still privately owned and not run as a museum, whose park and reception rooms are available for private hire on quotation.

Built in 1780 by architect Jacques-Francois Jouanne for Marie-Joseph-Armand de Gouvello, the chateau survived the Revolution before being bought back by his son under the Restoration, who restored it in Italian style. Still privately owned by de Gouvello descendants, it is not run as a museum: only guided tours of the park and exterior are offered, seasonally and by appointment. The estate is also available for private hire, on quotation, for receptions.
