Hotel de Caumont stands in the Mazarin quarter, south of the cours Mirabeau. Restored and reopened as an art centre, it retains its historic rooms and unfolds more than a thousand square metres of private formal gardens around a paved three-sided courtyard. Movement between inside and out is the strength of the place: it allows a seated moment and a standing one to follow each other without leaving the walls.
The art centre distinguishes four private formats. Ground-floor rooms and gardens host cocktails and dinners, the spaces being made available once the site has closed to the public. The private visit gives access to the historic rooms, the gardens and the temporary exhibition then showing. Two lounges and a fully equipped auditorium serve seminars, for a full or half day. Intimate ceremonies are also received under exclusive conditions.
