AMR Services

Located at the entrance to Port Chantereyne in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Atelier Mécanique de la Rade, known as AMR Services, supports leisure boaters and professionals across the Cotentin with the maintenance and repair of their boats. The company brings together on a single site a workshop of more than 600 sqm, a chandlery area and a team that works both in the yard and alongside the pontoon.

Mechanics is the core business: servicing and repair of inboard and outboard engines, propulsion, steering, hydraulic hoses and repowering. The workshop has a crane for lifting out an engine and can place a boat ashore. Work is also carried out on the move, the team carrying in its vehicles the equipment needed to act directly at the pontoon or at the owner's home.

AMR Services also handles onboard electrics and electronics: navigation lights, pumps, deck lights, lighting, batteries and converters, sounders and chart plotters, as well as heating, air conditioning and watermakers. Added to this are hull work (scraping, sanding, painting, antifouling), composite repair (fibreglass, filler, gelcoat), deck fittings (shackles, snap hooks, winches) and handling services: launching, change of home port and cradle rental so owners can carry out their own maintenance. The shop completes the offer with paint, antifouling, GPS units, anodes and various filters.
