Cherbourg Plaisance (Cotentin Nautic)

Cherbourg Plaisance is the Cherbourg branch of the Cotentin Plaisance group, based at Port Chantereyne, 1 rue de la Marquise in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, alongside Cotentin Nautic in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. The site brings together a 350 sqm USHIP chandlery, a 500 sqm workshop, a 500 sqm showroom for new and used boats and 3,800 sqm of dry storage.

The workshop handles all types of work, with mechanics, electricity, painting and laminating listed among its services. The group highlights the largest workshop showroom in the Cotentin, covering 2,000 sqm, and advertises all-brand repairs on outboard and inboard engines: painting, rigging, mechanics, electricity, upholstery, storage, craning, sanding, antifouling and joinery.

On the hull, the teams carry out sanding, welding, resin work, osmosis treatment and antifouling application, then cleaning and polishing. On board, they work on joinery, plumbing, electricity and air conditioning; outside, they take care of canvas covers, railings and bathing platforms. Engine servicing and winterisation, propeller repair and a dedicated unit for RIB repairs complete the range. The workshop is Flexiteek certified and trained by Flexiteek Denmark for laying synthetic teak decks, from small boats to super yachts.

Storage and winter layup rely on outdoor and indoor spaces, on cradles or trailers depending on the model, with a 20-tonne crane, a 30-tonne travelift and a hydraulic trolley, together with surveillance and upkeep of the stored boats and a welcome for delivery crews. On the sales side, the company represents Jeanneau and Prestige, along with Quicksilver, B2 Marine, Brig, Bombard and Ocqueteau, and Mercury, Suzuki Marine and Volvo Penta engines.
