Kernével Nautic

Kernével Nautic is a boatyard located on boulevard Roger le Port in Larmor-Plage, a short distance from Kernével marina and the Lorient roadstead. The site covers one hectare of land, including 3,000 sqm under cover, with direct access to the sea. It welcomes sailing yachts, motorboats, catamarans, RIBs and inflatables, with both outboard and inboard power.

Handling relies on a slipway and a hydraulic trolley with a 15-tonne capacity for haul-out and launching, together with an 8-metre gantry dedicated to mast stepping and unstepping and a 14-metre Manitou for craning, keel removal and engine removal. The yard then provides storage and winter layup, with a covered shed, a closed parking area, cradle chocking and a separate shed reserved for mast storage, for a capacity of close to 200 boats and year-round caretaking.

Servicing covers hull cleaning on an area fitted with water treatment, spray-applied antifouling, anode replacement and engine overhaul. The yard can collect the boat at its berth and return it after the work is done. On the repair side, the company has an outboard and inboard mechanical workshop, a lamination and joinery workshop and a paint booth, and also handles osmosis treatment, restoration after damage and the dismantling of end-of-life boats.

The site is also home to a 200 sqm chandlery under the U Ship banner, bringing together deck hardware, onboard electronics, safety equipment and tenders, with advice and on-board fitting by the yard's technicians. Sales of new and pre-owned boats are handled in partnership with Atlantic Yachting.
