Marseille · Vieux Port de La Ciotat · Port de Cassis · Vieux-Port de Marseille
L'Atelière Sellerie Marine is an artisan workshop based at 6 rue Martial Reynaud, in l'Estaque, in the 16th district of Marseille. The official website states that the founder, Coralie, trained in 2003 in fashion (pattern making and styling), worked for several years in the Hautes-Alpes in her own workshop, then moved to Marseille in 2013, taking over the workshop of Madame Simione, established for thirty years, who passed on the marine upholstery trade.
The activity covers three areas. Bespoke creation includes sun and winter awnings, biminis, lazy bags, indoor and outdoor cushions, and all types of covers (tiller, engine, console). Refurbishment covers repair and restoration of existing awnings, biminis and upholstery. Decoration covers cushion covers, sofa covers, made to measure curtains, sheers, sheets and fitted bed covers.
Cushioning includes cutting and covering foam for indoor and outdoor seating, using open or closed cell foam, polyether or soy based, in various densities. The workshop states it travels to the boat for projects and works with the Bérengier (Vitrolles), Cotte Martinon (Nice) and T.A France (Plougoumelen) suppliers, and with the Serge Ferrari, Alcantara, Sunbrella, Nuvant and Griffine brands.
