MTAIC is a pleasure-boat and marina insurance broker based at 39 rue Jean Jaurès in Cannes, with coverage explicitly extended to the Antibes-Juan-les-Pins area. Founded in 1965 by Pierre Chevallet, it has been run since 2011 by his son Alexandre Chevallet, with a team of four. The company is registered with ORIAS under number 11 060 307.
The broker offers four contract families: pleasure-boat insurance for owners of motorboats and monohull or multihull sailboats, a dedicated Yacht and Crew insurance for prestige units, marina insurance designed with the French Federation of Marinas for marina operators, and a multi-risk policy for nautical professionals.
In the event of a claim, MTAIC states it sends an expert within 24 hours and reimburses within 48 hours.
