Neo Yachting is a brokerage founded in 2009, headquartered at 26 quai Lunel in Nice, with representatives in around a dozen European and Asian cities and a team working in some fifteen languages. It has joined the Sparfell Group, an ecosystem spanning private aviation, yachting and bespoke client services, and claims a boutique approach in which one contact follows the client throughout the project.
Charter is its anchor: every yacht and crew is personally vetted before joining the portfolio, the broker builds the itinerary with the client and adjusts it during the cruise, and the offer extends to event experiences (Monaco Grand Prix, Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Yachting Festival, Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters) as well as yacht and villa combinations. For owners, the charter marketing programme handles promotion, client vetting, contracts and funds, with a fleet of yachts from around twenty to fifty metres.
Sales and purchases are handled on both sides of the market: market analysis, identification of yachts matching the brief, viewings, then valuation strategy, buyer targeting, negotiation and management of the technical, legal and tax aspects.
Yacht management is set out in six areas: worldwide operational management (itineraries, berths, port and customs formalities, fuel), technical management (planned maintenance, refit and yard supervision, purchasing and spares, warranties), financial administration (budget, cash flow, invoices, reporting, VAT, crew cards), safety and compliance (procedures, risk assessments, emergency plans, ISM, ISPS, MLC and flag state requirements, including helicopter operations), corporate support (ownership structures, insurance, flag choice, tax, coordination with the family office) and crew support (placement, payroll, appraisals, training, rotations).
Added to this are upstream consulting (company formation, registration, classification, berths, budget, pre-purchase surveys) and owner's representation on new build and refit projects from concept to delivery. Neo Yachting states its professional memberships (IYBA, ECPY, GYA, CYBA) and has signed the Water Revolution Foundation code of conduct.
