Ocean Drive

Ocean Drive is a yachting house founded in 1999 by Renaud Canivet, based at 79 avenue des Frères Roustan in Port Camille Rayon, Golfe-Juan. It is a member of MYBA, IYBA and ECPY and works to the industry's standard contracts.

Brokerage is handled end to end: shortlisting and inspection of yachts, offer and negotiation, drafting of the sale contract and acting as stakeholder, appointment of a surveyor for survey and sea trials, banking procedures, document collection, transfer of ownership and flag formalities, through to recruiting a captain for the delivery passage if the buyer wishes. The firm draws on a base of pre-qualified buyers and brokers and on access to confidential listings.

In charter, Ocean Drive is a Yachtfolio member, applies MYBA Terms and explains clearly how the APA, VAT and onboard customs work. Embarkations run from Cannes, Golfe-Juan, Antibes, Nice and Monaco, with tailor-made itineraries in the western Mediterranean, the Adriatic, the Caribbean or the Norwegian fjords. For owners, charter marketing is handled under central agency with a revenue forecast.

Management covers the full technical and administrative scope: registration and flag, VAT mitigation, accounting and banking, budget control, regulatory watch, berth management, along with crew management (payroll, health cover, onboard safety, MLC 2006 compliance) and refit supervision with reporting at every stage.

Ocean Drive is also the exclusive importer for several superyacht ranges: ISA Yachts (Viper and the Zeffiro power catamaran), Extra Yachts, Columbus Yachts and Fountaine Pajot, in both power and sail, with project support from concept to delivery. Its environmental commitment shows in the selection of yards and suppliers on sustainability criteria and in its participation in the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge.
