Ragonot Marine is located at 45 rue de la Trinquette in La Rochelle, in the immediate vicinity of Port des Minimes, with a second base on quai Daniel Rivaille in Saint-Martin-de-Ré. The company covers the full life cycle of a leisure boat and works at Port des Minimes as well as in the harbours of the Île de Ré.
Hull cleaning is one of its core trades. The service follows a complete sequence: dry docking, high-pressure cleaning of the underwater section, thorough inspection of the hull, scraping to remove shells and old coatings, then application of antifouling, available in black or blue, using environmentally considerate products. Additional services are offered as options: reinforced manual scraping where build-up is heavy, premium antifouling, anode replacement, handling and transport to and from the berth. Both sailing yachts and motor boats are taken care of.
The workshop is an official Mercury agent. It handles sales of the Verado, SeaPro and FourStroke ranges, annual servicing and the 100-hour and 300-hour schedules, Mercury G3 electronic diagnostics, full winterisation of the fuel system, and replacement of wear parts such as impellers, anodes and spark plugs. Repowering is also carried out on Mercury, Suzuki, Honda and Yamaha engines, and servicing includes a meticulous inspection of every component, electrical system included.
The yard further provides handling with launching, hauling out, setting ashore and chocking on cradles, boat transport, and storage and winterisation, either in a supervised open yard or in a closed, monitored shed protected from water and weather, with thorough interior and exterior cleaning and engine servicing. The team also fits onboard equipment, from biminis to rod holders, GPS sounders and speakers. On the sales side, Ragonot Marine offers new and used boats, including Brig, Quicksilver and Whaly RIBs, along with trailers, and rents RIBs departing from Saint-Martin-de-Ré.
