Select Yacht

Select Yacht is a boatyard based in La Rochelle, ZA des Minimes, 29 quai Marillac, at the heart of one of the major boating hubs on the French Atlantic coast. Founded in 2017, the company is led by Cyrille Rognon, who brings more than thirty years of experience in the marine industry. The technical team works on sailing yachts and motor boats of all brands, and presents itself as the owner's partner for buying, maintaining and repairing their boat.

Routine maintenance is the core of the business. The yard organises haul-out and relaunch movements, carries out hull cleaning, antifouling application and hull polishing, and handles mechanical preparation ahead of the season or of a long-distance passage.

Repair work covers parts replacement, gel coat work, lamination and structural repair, hull painting and rudder refurbishment. In the event of damage, the team supports the owner in dealing with their insurer, which makes the claim and the restart of the work easier to manage.

Rigging is one of the company's recognised specialities: full inspection, unstepping, mast replacement, and replacement of standing and running rigging. To this are added interior joinery, refit and layout modifications, deck hardware, and the fitting of equipment designed to improve self-sufficiency and performance.

Select Yacht is also the distributor for SIMBAD catamarans, a 55-foot design available in Legend, Ultra and Select versions, conceived to combine bespoke customisation with production-series lead times. The team supports the purchase project, including on other cruising catamarans such as BALI, and offers the Simbad Leasing Club long-term charter scheme, Simbad SplitSail for shared ownership and Simbad Care for full yacht management.
