Yacht Rigging is a shop and workshop dedicated to yacht hardware and rigging, located at 21 avenue Mirabeau in Antibes, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It combines the sale of equipment selected from the sector's leading brands with a seamanship service: on request, a sailing professional comes on board to install equipment and optimise the rigging.
Standing rigging is a stated speciality, with the supply of quality rigging for boats and yachts and support for unstepping, refit and furler work, drawing on the Blue Wave and Petersen brands. The workshop is at home with splicing and ropework and holds a large stock of ropes in polyester, Dyneema and Vectran among others, sold by the metre or by the coil, whipped or spliced on request: running rigging, mooring lines, Dyneema soft shackles and loops, lifting strops, tow lines and snubber lines.
Lifting and towing come with a certified offer, with slings built from Dyneema rope and certified stainless steel hardware supplied with their certificate of compliance, replacement of davit and crane cables, load testing where required, crane hooks from 100 kg to 8 tonnes safe working load, and tender towing lines from 100 kg to more than 30 tonnes. On the mooring side, the range covers fender lines, stopper lines in Dyneema with Technora cover, weighted heaving lines, nylon or Dyneema snubber lines with chafe protection, floating toy lines, tender whips from 500 kg to 25 tonnes, certified pilot ladders with wooden, aluminium or polymer steps, anchor chains and fenders.
Leather work is another signature: bespoke fender hooks and whip holders, shaped around a 6 mm stainless steel core that fits handrails and bulwarks, covered in marine leather in a wide choice of colours, lined with soft sheepskin and fitted with 316 stainless hardware. Leather also protects chocks, mooring lines, tender lifting bars and steering wheels. For deck hardware, the shop stocks blocks, shackles, carabiners, fairleads, cleats, lubricants and splicing tools from Harken, Lewmar, Antal, Ronstan, Equiplite, Wichard and Tylaska, and extends its stainless steel expertise to railings for villas.
