The Cannes Yachting Festival is Europe's leading in-water boat show, spread across two adjoining sites: the Vieux Port for sailing yachts and production boats, and Port Pierre Canto for motor yachts and the first units above 24 metres. Every September, several hundred new boats from the biggest European and international builders are shown afloat, alongside world premieres closely followed by the trade press.

For owners, captains and yachting professionals (brokerage, provisioning, rigging, engineering), the show remains the single busiest date on the Riviera calendar to compare new models, meet builders and equipment makers, and take the market's pulse ahead of the next charter season. FairWinds covers each edition from Port Pierre Canto, a reference stopover in its directory of yachting professionals across the Mediterranean.
