Corsaro Nero Regatta - Cala del Forte Trophy

Held each May off Ventimiglia, on the Italian Riviera near the French border, the Regata del Corsaro Nero - Trofeo Cala del Forte is jointly organised by the Yacht Club Cala del Forte, Yacht Club Sant'Ampelio and Circolo Velico Ventimigliese, with support from the city of Ventimiglia. Competitors race in IRC, ORC and cruising classes and finish at Cala del Forte marina in the late afternoon. The race forms part of the Trofeo di Primavera, a series of regattas sailed between April and June along this stretch of coast. According to the organisers, the 2025 edition was the 14th, placing the race's origins around 2012.

For yachting professionals based between Monaco, Menton and the Italian Riviera, this cross-border regatta is a fixture of the Ligurian spring sailing calendar, run alongside other races organised by the same clubs as part of the Trofeo di Primavera.
