Voiles d'Antibes

Les Voiles d'Antibes traditionally opens the Mediterranean season of traditional-yacht regattas in late May, at Port Vauban, Europe's largest marina for large yachts. The fleet gathers gaff-rigged sailboats, Belle Époque-era yachts and modern boats built in the classic spirit, sharing the same quay as the Coupe d'Or de la Voile Traditionnelle.

Unlike the late-summer regattas, this late-May date marks the real start of the season for Antibes-based professionals (rigging, engineering, paint and hull work), ahead of the wave of visiting yachts that follows all summer along this stretch of the Riviera.
