The Ch. Courrieu workshop has hand-made briar pipes in Cogolin since 1802, passed down through generations and recognised as a French Living Heritage Company ("Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant"). The workshop offers a one-hour guided tour year-round, Monday to Saturday from 2pm to 6pm, arranged by contacting the workshop directly. The master pipe-maker personally selects the briar wood from the Maures massif and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
