Private vineyard tasting, Domaine du Val de Gilly

A family-run vineyard in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, in its sixth generation, offers private tastings by reservation overlooking the vines.

Domaine du Val de Gilly, in Grimaud, is run by Maëlle and Marion Castellan, sisters of the sixth generation of the owning family. The estate offers private tastings by reservation, with food and wine pairings, overlooking the vineyard. The domain also runs a direct shop at Les Marines de Cogolin, on rue de la Plage. Founded around 1880 by Alexandre Castellan around forestry and olive groves, the estate turned to winemaking after a 1956 frost destroyed its olive trees, according to the estate's own site.
