The lagoon spa suite, Anantara Mai Khao

At Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, a short distance from Phuket Yacht Haven, the spa has built six couples' treatment suites around a lotus-filled lagoon, reached by walking over low pontoons to a suite tucked away in the greenery. Signature treatments include the Anantara Signature Massage, Chakra Crystal Balancing and Thai Warrior Massage, alongside indoor and outdoor baths and a steam room. Booking goes directly through the spa or the resort's concierge, never through an online activity ticketing platform. The resort, opened in 2011 and designed by Habita Architects with landscape designer Bill Bensley around existing banyan trees rather than clearing them, served in 2025 as the principal filming location for season three of HBO's The White Lotus, including the lagoon bridge scene in the finale.
