Mai Khao's Market-to-Table Journey

At the edge of Sirinat National Park, the village of Mai Khao keeps a local market open every afternoon, used by residents long before the arrival of the beachfront resorts. The Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa organises, for small groups, a morning that begins with a discovery of the stalls and produce of southern Thai cuisine, before moving to the resort's kitchens for a hands-on class led by its chefs and a shared meal.
