The Grenada Chocolate Company is based in Upper Hermitage, in the parish of Saint Patrick, in the north of Grenada, roughly an hour to ninety minutes' drive from St George's. Founded in 1999 by Mott Green, it organised in 2012 what is described as the first transatlantic delivery of carbon-neutral chocolate, aboard a Dutch cargo sailing ship.
