Bali Gapura Marina

Benoa, Bali, ID

The port

Indonesia's first international full-service marina, opened in 2026 in Benoa Harbour, Bali, built to welcome yachts and superyachts up to 76 metres.

Bali Gapura Marina is Indonesia's first international full-service marina, located in Benoa Harbour, about 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Developed and operated by Marina Development Indonesia in partnership with state port operator Pelindo, it broke ground on 22 May 2025, opened Dock B on a pilot basis in December 2025, and inaugurated its Welcome Station and Dock C on 16 July 2026. Once complete, the marina will offer 180 berths across five docks for vessels from 15 to 76 metres (50 to 250 feet), including around fifty superyacht berths. Electricity, water and fuel are available dockside. The on-site Welcome Station centralises customs, immigration and quarantine (CIQP) formalities for crews in transit. The name "Gapura", meaning "gateway" in Balinese, was chosen to symbolise the marina's welcoming purpose: according to Indonesia's Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, "every vessel docking at Bali Gapura Marina is welcomed as part of a cultural journey" (per idnfinancials.com). The project reflects Indonesia's ambition, as a nation of more than 17,000 islands, to build world-class yachting infrastructure after decades without a full-service marina for superyachts.
