The port
65-berth marina within a Mediterranean-style resort at Nongsa, Batam Island (Indonesia), facing Singapore across the strait - an official port of entry and Indonesia's first marina to earn a 5 Gold Anchor rating.
Tucked into a natural cove at the north-eastern tip of Batam Island, barely twenty kilometres from Singapore across the strait, Nongsa Point Marina & Resort pairs a Mediterranean-style resort with a 65-berth marina, two of which are reserved for megayachts up to 130 feet (about 39.6 m). The floating concrete pontoons (Bellingham Marine) offer a minimum depth of 3.50 m alongside the berths. Fuel (diesel, petrol, outboard oil), water and individually metered electricity are available at every berth. The marina is an official port of entry for yachts in Indonesia (CIQP), a classic stop on the route linking Singapore, Malaysia and the Riau islands. According to the resort's official site and trade press, Nongsa Point Marina was the first marina in Indonesia to earn the Marina Industries Association's 5 Gold Anchor rating.
