The port

Portosole, an 806-berth marina in Sanremo, Liguria, welcomes yachts up to 90 metres in the heart of the Riviera dei Fiori.

Portosole is located in Sanremo, on the Ligurian coast, within a favoured Mediterranean cruising area, roughly fifteen nautical miles from Monaco. The marina provides direct access to Sanremo's town centre, known for its casino and the Corso Imperatrice promenade, and sits within the wider Riviera dei Fiori.

With 806 berths, Portosole ranks among the larger marinas in the region and can accommodate vessels up to 90 metres in length, with depths ranging from 2.50 to 7 metres. The marina offers two 30-tonne travel lifts, a 750-tonne slipway, two shipyards including a 600-tonne syncrolift able to lift boats up to 60 metres, a fuel station, repair workshops, and reinforced shore power that allows megayachts to run without their generators while docked.

The marina was built and opened in the late 1970s, making it one of the long-established nautical facilities along this stretch of the Ligurian coast. It has recently begun a multi-decade modernisation plan covering breakwater reconstruction, the coastal cycle path linking the area, and improved wastewater management.

Ashore, visitors find restaurants, waterfront-terrace bars, shops, a hotel with beach access, and a yacht club offering courses and water sports activities. Portosole regularly hosts yachting-industry events, including the MYBA Charter Show, an international charter exhibition held there several times in recent years, underlining the site's international standing in the superyacht sector.
