Eden Island Marina

Eden Island, Mahé, SC

The port

Marina of the man-made Eden Island, off the east coast of Mahé in the Seychelles, with over 1,000 m of pontoon berths for yachts up to 115 m.

Eden Island Marina sits on Eden Island, off the east coast of Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles. According to its official website, it offers over 1,000 m of piled pontoon berths, 180 m of them reserved for superyachts, with stern-to and alongside berthing, and welcomes yachts from 7 m up to about 115 m (another page of the site says 120 m). The approach channel is limited to 5 m depth and the basin is much deeper. Pedestals deliver up to 400 V, presented as the only such offering in the Seychelles, with itemised billing per berth. Port Victoria remains the only official port of entry of the Seychelles: arrival formalities are completed there before heading to the marina, reachable on +248 434 6300. The Seychelles lie outside the cyclone belt, and the site describes pleasant conditions all year round, with north-westerly trade winds from November to March and south-easterly from May to September. According to TDB Group, Eden Island is a 56-hectare man-made island reclaimed from the sea, with works that began in 2010.
