Régates Royales de Cannes

The Régates Royales de Cannes bring together, every year right after the Cannes Yachting Festival, a fleet of classic and traditional yachts at the Vieux-Port de Cannes, from early 20th-century gaff-rigged sailboats to modern 12 Metre J.I. class yachts. One of the oldest events on the Mediterranean calendar, it combines competitive racing with a parade of carefully restored wooden hulls.

Following directly on from the boat show makes the second half of September the busiest stretch of the year for the yards and riggers based at the Vieux-Port de Cannes, between delivering new boats and preparing classic yachts for racing.
