On Route de la Revere, in the hills above Eze, the Astrorama is run by PARSEC, a non-profit association. The site is devoted to public science in astronomy and space: planetarium sessions, observation of celestial objects through instruments, reading the constellations, and presentations of the solar system. The association hosts private evenings and days, as well as programmes for formed groups.
The site operates from January to December, on a weekly rhythm that widens in the warmer months. Its value lies in its position: a plateau on the Grande Corniche, set back from the seafront and its light haze, with a clear view to the marine horizon. The climb from Monaco, Cap-d'Ail or Villefranche takes around twenty minutes by road. The evening is conducted in a small group, outdoors, and calls for warm clothing whatever the season.
