Port de La Napoule

Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, FR

The port

Port de La Napoule, marina of 970 berths, combines modern infrastructure with a strong environmental commitment on the French Riviera.

Port de La Napoule is located in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, in the Alpes-Maritimes department, on the Mediterranean coast of the French Riviera, right next to the Bay of Cannes. The marina offers 970 berths and is one of the town's seven ports, which together total more than 6,000 berths.

The port provides infrastructure suited to a wide range of vessels, including a five-berth catamaran quay able to receive boats up to 20 metres, along with the full range of services expected of a modern marina. Its environmental management is widely recognised: it holds the Port Propre label, has flown the Blue Flag for more than 23 consecutive years, and carries the Port Actif en Biodiversite certification, making it one of the pioneers in this field on the Mediterranean coast.

Close to the port, Mandelieu-la-Napoule offers several fine sandy beaches, including the Plage du Château, along with a wide choice of water sports such as sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking. The town is also known for its two golf courses, among the oldest on the Riviera, and for the Mimosa Festival, held every February and central to its identity. Nearby Cannes adds easy access to the Croisette and to the events that punctuate the coast throughout the year.

A short walk from the water stands the Château de la Napoule, a building whose origins date back to the 14th century. Restored from 1918 by American sculptor Henry Clews Jr. and his wife Marie, it now houses La Napoule Art Foundation, which Marie created in 1951 to carry on this artistic legacy. Its gardens, overlooking the Bay of Cannes, form a familiar landmark for boats entering the port.
